When the reception changes and you can see blurry lines in the middle of the picture, or if you change the outlets or cables for your TV and you see these blurry lines then your television resolution probably isn’t too high. This probably means that you should look into getting a new television.

You should also ask about the electron on the TVs that you are considering purchasing since the electron gun has a lot to do with television resolution as well. The electron gun is something that is located at the bottom of the picture tube, and heats up when electric current runs to it. The more intense the current the brighter the picture will turn out.
