During my early days in this electronic repair field, whenever i go to the electronic suppliers i could see them selling lots of Television schematic diagrams from Thailand. It was a compilation of many different brands and models for CRT Television. It came with volume I, II, III and etc and i bought a volume 6 back in the 1997. The diagrams were clear and we could learn a lot from it different types of circuit. It came with voltage test points and waveforms for reference. The price back then was very cheap too.
Many of my tv repair friends owned these schematic diagrams series up till the latest volume. These few years back i could hardly see any of these schematic diagrams from our local electronic suppliers anymore-perhaps it could be less demand from the market. The last time i went to Bangkok back in the year of 2004 for an electronic exhibition, i went to their publication shop in Ban Moh Road and wow! there was a huge collection of all kinds of repair books and schematic diagrams which include this TV schematic diagrams . Unfortunately all of the repair books are in Thai’s language.
How nice if the local electronic suppliers still bringing in this type of information. Who knows now the book volume could already hit volume 20 to 30 over and covers the latest LCD TV and Plasma TV schematic diagrams too.
