The new Samsung Smart TV remote control seems to have taken a page from Boxee, but then flipped the switch into overdrive with a number of important improvements. For starters, there is an LCD display on the remote above the QWERTY keyboard. When you type a Web address or 140 characters of magic on Twitter, you do not want to have to watch on television – Smart TV remote has you covered.

At the heart of the remote is Bluetooth, so the exception range. There are motion sensors for navigation and even an optical trackpad (Finger Optical Navigation) to navigate the TV menu prompt and friendly. Smart because Samsung TVs are focused on applications, social networks and web browsing, Samsung also numerous shortcuts.

The only bad news on the Samsung remote is clever that it is only available in Korea (for now). Samsung has included for 99,000 won (€ 50.65) on their website and shows that it is compatible with the D6400 and D8000 series televisions.
